Owning a Nikon D3000 has had me taking pictures a lot lately. Having a DSLR camera makes the whole experience of owning a camera worth its money. But anyone can take a very good picture with any camera; it just depends on how it is used. I remember when I used to struggle on how I needed to get used to a camera’s settings, whether it is just me setting the aperture, or ISO speed. I finally figured it out after messing around with the settings. And sure enough I got into taking a lot of picture with different settings. It turned out great, especially with some photoshop tweaks.

My Nikon D3000 changed the way I view the world. Photographers see things that the normal eyes cannot see. Simple, but yet , amazing how we see the world in its unique style. It is the patterns of the walls, the smooth shaped clouds, and shadow of an object, and the lighting of the sun’s light on someone or something. Cameras allow us to capture that unique moment and share it with others. I love my camera and its functions. It just takes a while, but eventually a beginning photographer will get very used to their cameras.

Take some pictures for yourself and see how enjoyable it really is. Love your camera no matter how “crappy” it is. Take care and comment you thoughts on how photography has changed your perspective of the world. :)

This is one of the most memorable moments of Senior year. I can never forget the experiences of FBLA and what it has done for me. I feel very accomplished and a lot more confident for how far I got. I never thought that this organization would evolve me into a brand new person. The friendships, experiences, and the memories, will live on forever…

And I have to thank everyone in this picture for making the day possible.

My Review of My Nikon D3000 DSLR…

When I first got my camera I was very excited to take pictures of pretty much anything. I had my camera for a few days and I was still trying to get used to the control and feel for the camera. Since then, I’ve been used to it more than the Canon’s I used before.

The functions on the camera are user friendly and the settings are something the user will get used to. The feature I like about it is the clear LCD screen on the camera and the focus lens. Because the camera I like any other SLR camera out there, this camera is my favorite because of the feel and user-friendly feature of the camera.

I highly recommend this camera for beginners and moderate photographers because the quality and action of the D3000 are basically the same used like any other SLR cameras.

Bond of Brothers…

Posted in 1 with tags , , , , , on January 8, 2010 by Elvis

We are created from the same being, but we are different from what we are. Everywhere we look everyone is minding their business.

I remember a time when me and my brothers would just laugh and play around. Those were the days. But as everyone grows older, fun things begin to fade. Brothers of all, not just in family, but friend firm us with the lightest feelings. I can see why the term: “all men are created equal” coinsides with the thought of all of us being equal and less than what we are. I like the quote: “All wars are civil wars because all men are brothers” – Francois Fenelon. This quote reflected on how we are at war with ourselves and how we should be the type God intended us to be. Peaceful.

Sibling rivals are similar to that of the world. Not many care for the world issues and what is going on, but ignorance should not fill our minds, even for the blinded.

Being a Friend…

Posted in Pring Photography with tags , , , on July 11, 2009 by Elvis

I know someone that I have been friends with for so long, and I mess with him too much. I joke around, and I feel that he doesn’t even want to put up with me, but he does. I don’t even know how he even puts up with me, I can’t even stop thinking how my friend would put up with me. I guess he is a true friend that finally understands what kind of person I am. I have no definition of a “friend” but the point of a friend is that the person is always there where you can count on them the most. I feel very fortunate to know a friend like that, thanks guys for putting up with me after all these years. Even friends like to joke around, but not too much… What is your definition of a “friend”?

I like to dedicate this post to all me friends out there, you know who you are… Thanks!

My Opinion…

Posted in Pring Photography with tags , , , , , , , , , on July 10, 2009 by Elvis

I have always wondered what will become of me in the next 10 years or so… But the question, I believe, is left up to me and how I progress  and approach life. I must stay on the positive path and think not of the negetive entity. I feel as though my life is just left with more questions than answers. It just bothers me to not know what life will throw at me, but that’s how life is and I have to live with that. I feel isolated from the path of answers, to the the path of questions. Nothing in me says that life is easy (but I fighured that one out already) but it seems to me that I am missing a peice of my puzzle. Will I ever find that puzzle, can I really live life just wondering? It seems to me that I will try to go on to live life the way it is, and prepare myself for whatever lies ahead, but that’s just me… What do you think?
