Calligraphy
Calligraphy to me captures the persons interest to want to read and scan through the art. Chinese, arabic, etc. They are all very artistic and unqiue in every way. The art of the brush and the pen are very compelling because of the way people use them. The form to have the writing become art has a very compelling view. Here are some samples:

There are so many beautiful forms of calligraphy! Even letters used in English or earlier forms of English have been used. It’s amazing what creative minds can do.
